This was the first self-help book that "cured" me and helped me see the light, so to speak (the other one, read about the same time, The Slight Edge, is also EXCELLENT; it has the same message, and further reinforced my cure)! I had been looking for the magic fix! Of course, there is no such thing! This book helped me see that! But it provides a real and powerful approach to improving one's life! Spoiler alert: you have to put in the effort! And it works sort of like this: slowly, slowly, slowly, . . . SUDDENLY! You'll have to read the book to understand. I HIGHLY recommend this book!Better Than Expected! I had a hard time seeing how this concept applied to me at first, as I am not a business person and am not seeking large profit. But as I continued to read, the author applied the principle to other things like quitting smoking, eating healthy, and basically accomplishing any goal you have set for yourself. Some of it was tough to read, as in taking responsibility and accountability for not putting my all into my efforts to succeed, but a kick in the butt that I needed to push myself to the next level. The author is entertaining too, so not a boring read.
